Green Ice Sensory

Ice-sensory.JPG

The girls were all about this gorgeous sensory activity! We gathered some leaves from some bushes outside and froze them in ice cube trays. We added baby food jars, tweezers, scoops and spray bottles for them to experiment with. My 3 year old discovered how difficult the tweezers were to grab the slippery ice, but found out she could be successful using the scoops. They loved spraying the ice cubes and trying to melt the ice to get the greenery out! They were also excited about making mini “potions” by mixing and putting the ice cubes in the mini jars.

We love ice sensory and it’s such an easy thing to whip up! Stay tuned for what we’ll be freezing next!
