The girls loved how sparkly and beautiful this confetti ice was! They loved using scissor scoops to pick up the ice and the confetti once it melted. They used a wood hammer to try to get the confetti out as well. This activity was so easy to whip up and they loved feeling the cold ice.

The funnels were fun to use as the water seeped through, but most of the confetti would not.

The nice thing about using sequence as our “confetti” is that once it melted we were able to pour the water out using a strainer and keep the sequences for future use. In fact, later that day my 3 year old used some of the sequence on an art activity she created. We loved this activity and will definitely be doing it again!
