Valentine Chocolates + Bake Sale

Valentine chocolates? Yes please! This chocolate play dough is so soft and I am obsessed with how it turned out when I created it a few months ago. We are constantly pulling it out, and it was the perfect addition to our Valentine’s activities (click here for the recipe)! The play dough smells just like chocolate and the girls loved creating chocolate sweets to “sell”. We used our alphabet cookie cutters and heart cookie cutters (find the complete cookie cutter set with multiple seasons, holidays, letters and numbers here). We also added in a rolling pin, a knife and fork, cupcake liners and mini cake stands.

We use the alphabet cookie cutters pretty much constantly in all of our play dough creations (linked above). I love watching them search for the different letters and try to spell new words. Today my four year old wanted to spell her name.

She loved using a knife to enhance her cutting skills! My four year old ended up serving the chocolate “sweets” on a plate with a fork for us to eat after we “bought” them.

I also like to pull out our DIY Play Stand for an added dramatic play element. The girls loved selling their Valentine Day sweets! Let me know how you like the chocolate play dough! It seriously makes my day when you message me or tag me @matangilemon ! Happy Valentines Day!
