Oxygen Mask
Think of a flight attendant on an airplane. When they are explaining the oxygen mask, what do they say? Place the oxygen mask on yourself BEFORE helping another individual. That makes total sense right? of course we should place the oxygen mask on ourselves first. What good are we if we try to help someone else first and forget ourselves? We die. We die and then we CAN’T help anyone else! The same goes for you.
She Strengtheneth Her Arms
I hear all the time, whether personally or throughout social media and news, “Oh you’re JUST a stay at home mom?” “What else do you do?” “It must be so nice to sit at home all day.” “I wish my life was that easy.” “You decided to work instead of being a stay at home mom?” Everyone’s situation is different, but it seems that no matter what YOU are doing as a mom, someone will have something negative to say about it. I will ALWAYS defend the sacred role of motherhood in whatever shape or form. I’m not “just” a stay at home mom.
The Shepherd Doesn’t Sleep

My husband has been at the end of countless conversations of me talking for hours about trying to find myself. “What are my talents?” I would ask him.

Every time we leave town I get so stressed. Every. Single. Time. Well today was no exception.

Man this girl.. this girl will be 6 months old tomorrow. She had to be resuscitated 5 different times when she was just three weeks old. She taught me a little more about how intense a mother’s love and ache is for their children.

I've been thinking a lot lately about the phrase, "It's better to look up". When I think about how the Savior ministered, it was just that. He looked up and he looked out.
